About Prepare Flights

A flight planning and weather app for general aviation pilots, built around the airspace and weather data of the Nordic and Baltic countries.

What is Prepare Flights?

Prepare Flights brings weather, airspace, NOTAMs, charts, flight planning and your logbook together on one map. The idea is simple: everything a pilot checks before, during and after a flight, in one place — instead of a dozen browser tabs.

It is a web app: it runs in any modern browser, can be installed to your home screen and works without a network. There is no app store download.

Development status

The app is in active development. New features arrive often, and things may change. Your feedback decides what gets built next.

Price and privacy

Prepare Flights is free to use while it is being developed, and it has no ads. The app and this website count visitors with Plausible, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data. The app's own server also counts daily visits the same way: without cookies or identifiers, with a key replaced every day, and no IP addresses stored. If you sign in, your flights and settings are stored only to sync them between your devices. The introduction video is loaded from YouTube only when you press play — until then nothing is requested from YouTube. Watching it is subject to YouTube's own terms.

The authors are not liable for any damage arising from the use of the app.
